Activity - Hurricane Lanterns

LET'S GET STARTED:

Decorate your table by filling a glass hurricane lantern with various seasonal or holiday items.   For example:

Summer: Set the lantern into a shallow dish, add fresh flowers or flowering branches into the center of lantern. Fill dish with water.   Add floating candles around the outside of the lantern.

Winter:   Fill lantern 1/2 full with white fiberfill to look like snow and add a penguin or snowman to the top of the mound. Surround base of lantern with more "snow" or clear glass rocks to look like ice.

Birthday: Fill lantern with items to reflect theme of the birthday party. Circus party - fill with peanuts Princess party - fill with shiny tinsel and suspend jewels from side of lantern.
