HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 1 clean gallon plastic water jug or juice jug, with labels removed
• Scissors
• Suction cups
• Permanent paint pens

LET'S GET STARTED:

1. Set the bottle on your workspace with the spout to the left and with the handle facing up.
2. On the end of the bottle opposite the spout (the bottom end), sketch a big mouth shape all the way around with pen and cut out the shape, leaving a bit of a lip on top and bottom.
3. Poke 2 holes on the side of the bottle and insert tabs of suction cups.
4. Decorate hippo with paint pens - making eyes, lips etc. Make ears using the plastic from the mouth section you cut off earlier. Cut small slits in front of the handle and insert the ears.
5. Keep the lid on to use the hippo as a water scoop. When tub time is over, remove the lid, store it inside the hippo and fill hippo up with toys. Suction the hippo to the side of bathtub, spout end down, and water will drain off toys and into the tub.
