Activity - Octopus Hot Dogs

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Hot dogs
• Spinach pasta, cooked and drained
• Pineapple in sea creature shapes (optional)
• Cocktail-sized wieners or sausages (optional)

LET'S GET STARTED:

1. Beginning one inch down from the end, make a cut through the length of the hot dog. Cut each of these strips in half, then in half again. Be careful to keep strips attached at the top.
2. Place the hot dogs in a pan of boiling water and watch the octopus grow. Create smaller versions with cocktail wieners or sausages.
3. Serve on top of spinach pasta, with pineapple sea creatures and small sausage octopus.
