Segment #1 -Fake Food
Activity - Fake Lettuce

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 2-3 teaspoons green non-toxic latex paint
• Large zipper-style plastic bag
• Spray adhesive or clear self-adhesive
• Black non-toxic permanent marker pen

LET'S GET STARTED:

1. Pour paint into plastic bag and seal.
2. Smooth out paint to cover insides of bag.
3. Cut bag at both side seams. Open wide and let dry.
4. When dry, stick the two painted sides back together using spray adhesive (adult only) or clear self-adhesive. Let dry.
5. Cut bag into individual lettuce leaves.
6. Using permanent marker pen, draw lines on plastic to resemble lettuce veins.
